Sneak Peak..............Card Swap Cards!

Hi friends!  In my last post I mentioned that I had a cardmaking gathering at my house last weekend.   We all worked real hard and had a lot of fun making fabulous cards.   Today I am revealing two of those cards that we made for Carol's Themed Card Swap to beheld later this month. 

With the luck of the draw, my theme was "A child's birthday card".   And what child can resist a cupcake??? ......So I chose to make this strawberry shortcake cupcake piled high with swirl paper cream. Yum Yum! 

My daughter Kathy's theme was "Anniversary".  Kathy's beautiful card is styled with the new Spellbinders Floral Burst Cut Fold Tuck Shapabilities die.  I love medallions.  This die was so fun and easy to use. Wow!  So pretty.

Happy Easter

Hi Friends!  It has been a crazy few weeks with not much time to be creative or to share with you!  This past weekend I had a cardmaking gathering. We made cards for a themed card swap that is coming up this month.   I also just finished this card to give my mom for Easter.  It is bright and cheery and fun to look at.  It hasall her favorite things in it.  Birds, butterflies and lots of flowers.

Wow! It is hard to believe that Easter is here already.  I am sending each of you an Easter wish.  May it be rich and full of blessings and love always.  Happy Easter!

How it all began!

Hi Friends! This is the first post to my new Blog. First, I ask that you be patient with me as blogging is new to me. For years I have enjoyed reading other peoples blogs on every topic imaginable and I have been greatly inspired. So now, it is my turn to share with you.

To start, I would like to say just a little about me. I have been a long time dabbler of everything artsy and crafty. I have been making things as far as I can remember. And that goes a way back.

It seems that I have tried everything new that comes in fashion. And I have a craft room to prove it. More about that later.

So what is a NAME! Everything! Everything that means something and is important to me.

I remember my grandmother giving me a lace crochet hook at the age of 7 and teaching me how to make lace. I think that is where my passion for lacy things all began. At present I fancy making paper lace to decorate my hand made cards and things. So I just had to include lace in the name of this blog.

Also my latest fetish is paper. I love all the colours, designs and textures. I have to have my fix and feast on all the varieties in my favourite craft stores. There needs to be a weekly trip. Addiction! Most definately! Thus it needed to be in the name too.

I not only love to make cards, ATC's, journals and so much more. I love photography, painting, drawing, knitting, journaling, camping and so much more. I could go on and on and on. That is where the MORE come in.

So this blog is going to be about that and so much more. And I would love to share my MORE's with you as my blogging experience grows. There is is always to much MORE to learn and share in life each and every day.
